Near the beginning of his term as Secretary of Agriculture, Ezra Taft Benson was featured on the cover of Time Magazine on Apr 13, 1953. Some sources incorrectly cite this image as evidence that he was Time's "Man of the Year" (which was not the case, see for example, http://bit.ly/1DjPyFr). The article gave national exposure to Benson's LDS lifestyle.
