[Lucy Mack Smith] Joseph begins writing his personal history. This first six-page draft contains the earliest account of the first vision. (1)

[Joseph Smith] Kirtland, Ohio. Joseph and Emma Smiths fourth natural child, Joseph Smith III, was born on the same day that the Prophet returned to Kirtland from a hurried journey to Albany, New York, and Boston, Massachusetts. (3)

[Joseph Smith] Emma gives birth to Joseph III. Joseph III is the first child born to Joseph and Emma who lives. (7)
