Lorenzo Snow, Franklin D. Richards, Brigham Young, Francis M. Lyman, Heber J. Grant, John W. Taylor, Abraham H. Cannon, G. F. Gibbs and I met in Council. Some matters were talked over. President Snow spoke in regard to the scope of the Manifesto. (1)

Lorenzo Snow, Franklin D. Richards, Brigham Young, Francis M. Lyman, Heber J. Grant, John W. Taylor, Abraham H. Cannon, G. F. Gibbs and I met in Council. Some matters were talked over. President Snow spoke in regard to the scope of the Manifesto.

Mr. Timothy Egan hold[s] a Tax Title to the Carrington property which belongs [to] the Church. The title is in me. (1)

Prest. Wilford Woodruff, Geo. Q. Cannon, Joseph F. Smith, Lorenzo Snow, Franklin D. Richards, Francis M. Lyman, Heber J. Grant, John W. Taylor, Abraham H. Cannon, G. F. Gibbs and I met in Council at the Temple. Francis M. Lyman and I am to go to Bear Lake Co. Idaho to adjust some troubles. I[t] was determined in the Council that in all of the Forms of Baptism the words "Renewal of your Covenants and Remission of your sin" should be left out. A letter is to be sent to all of the Temples to that effect. (1)

The meeting of the First Presidency and Apostles was held at the Temple at 11 A.M. There were present Presidents [Wilford] Woodruff, [George Q.] Cannon and [Joseph F.] Smith; and of the Twelve, Pres[iden]t. L[orenzo]. Snow, and Elders F[ranklin]. D. Richards, F[rancis]. M. Lyman, J[ohn]. H[enry]. Smith, H[eber]. J. Grant, J[ohn]. W. Taylor and A[braham]. H. Cannon. ...

Pres[iden]t. Lorenzo Snow called attention to the form of baptism used in the Temples on behalf of the dead, in which the words "for the remission of your sins" were interpolated, being different from the form of baptism for the living. (2)
